AAT Kings encourages agents to pre-book sightseeing tours

AAT Kings has released its 2006 Sydney Sightseeing and 2006 Melbourne Sightseeing brochures, which feature a number of day trip options in and around Sydney and Melbourne.

Les Cox, managing director of AAT Kings, said the sightseeing tours are a great way for travel agents to make domestic flight bookings more profitable as they all offer good levels of commission.

“The majority of travellers to Sydney and Melbourne, even those travelling domestically, are interested in exploring the cities and surrounds and our tours offer a hassle-free, relaxing way to do this.”

He said currently many AAT Kings’ day tour bookings are made by clients once they arrive in Sydney meaning that agents are still missing out on valuable commission.

“Our sightseeing brochures feature a range of great tours featuring wildlife, stunning scenery, wine tastings, city sights and historic landmarks. The 2006 Melbourne brochure includes three new options – a Show Me Snow Family Fun Day at Lake Mountain Resort, Sovereign Hill by Night Tour and Melbourne All Over Afternoon tour.”

The Sydney brochure features tours in Sydney, the Blue Mountains, the Hunter Valley, Port Stephens and Canberra.

In Melbourne the brochure offers tours such as the Great Ocean Road, the Grampians, Melbourne Sights, Penguins at Phillip Island, Puffing Billy, Yarra Valley vineyards and Healesville Wildlife Park.
