Hertz NZ offers packages for South Island skiing

Hertz New Zealand has launched the Hertz Great Southern Experience and the HertzSki Rental Package.

Both deals are valid for travel from May 1 until November 30 2006, and include both ski and sightseeing in New Zealand’s South Island alpine country.

The Hertz Great Southern Experience package is priced from NZ$125 ($105) per vehicle per day (seven-13 day rate), and includes the choice of a late model Hertz vehicle, ranging from a compact car to a 4WD, snowchains and a ski or snowboard rack, one NZ Superpass coupon or one Cardrona ski lift voucher for every day of rental, and chocolate from Cadbury.The NZ Superpass coupon can be redeemed for one adult ski lift pass at the majority of main and club South Island skifields, or at more than 100 other South Island attractions.

Activities offered with the NZ Superpass range from meals or massages to rafting or jetboating.

The HertzSki Rental Package is priced from NZ$95 ($79) per vehicle per day, and includes the choice of a late model Hertz vehicle, snow chains and ski or snowboard rack, one NZSki ski lift voucher (for Mt Hutt, The Remarkbles or Coronet Peak) or one Treble Cone ski lift voucher for every day of rental.
